What are External Team Invitations?

External Team Invitations are sent when a registrant sends a team invitation to someone not yet registered on the challenge platform. This triggers the External Team Invitation email that must already be created within ‘Communications Setup’. The invite recipient must follow the link provided in their invitation email to register for the event and join the team. 

To identify those who have been sent an External Team Invitation but have not yet completed registration, you can download the Participant List. Those listed by only their email address and who do not have registration survey responses are those who have not yet responded to their External Team Invitation.

Tip: Those who have not completed the registration process will not be able to access their team's submission page on the platform
