Types of Email Triggers

An email trigger is the action that leads to an automated email being sent to a participant. The types of triggers are as follow:

Registration Complete

Participants will receive an email when registering if the maximum number of tickets has not been reached for the ticket type they selected

Added to Waitlist

Participants will receive an email when registering if the maximum number of tickets has been reached for the ticket type they selected

Team Invitation

Participants will receive this email if they have already registered for the challenge and receive a team invitation or join request from another participant on the challenge platform 

External Team Invitation

When a registered participant sends a team invitation to someone that has not registered on the challenge platform, the non-registered individual will receive this external team invitation email

Submission Confirmation

Participants will receive this email upon completing the submission process for your challenge. Typically best used to confirm their submission and outline the next steps if needed. 

Judge Login Credentials

Used to send Judges their sign-in credentials for the Judging Platform (can be triggered in Judging Setup)

Judge Assignments

Used to notify Judges of their submission assignments on the Judging Platform (can be triggered in Judging Setup)

Judging Complete

Will be automatically sent to a Judge when they complete their assessments on the Judging Platform and click "Submit All"

Time-Triggered

Email will be sent at the specified date and time set in the "Trigger Time" section when setting up the email. A 'Time-Triggered' email will be sent to all registrants.
