Page Template components

Within a Page Template, you have the ability to add, remove, and rearrange components. This article outlines the types of components available to you.

Banner

This component allows you to upload an image that spans the width of your challenge page.

Header

This component allows you to include a text heading or subheading to organize your page.

Guest Images

Guest images allow you to showcase individuals taking part in your challenge (for example: mentors, judges, etc.). This component is broken down into "elements" - each element encompasses one guest and allows you to include a picture with a heading, subheading, and text below it.

You can add as many elements within a "Guest Images" component as you like and rearrange them using the drag-and-drop feature. However, all elements must remain within the "Guest Images" component". You are able to add multiple "Guest Images" components if you wish to include other content between groups of guests.

Tip: Elements will appear in rows of three on the challenge page. If your elements are not a multiple of three, the remainder will be centred.

FAQ

This component allows you to frame text in a question-and-answer format.

Text

This component allows you to include a body of text within your page.

Video

This component allows you to embed a video on your page by inserting a YouTube link.

Text & Image or Image & Text

These components allow you to position text and an image beside each other. The positioning of the text and image will be implied by the title (for example, "Text & Image" will position the text on the left side of your page and the image on the right side).

Text & Video or Video & Text

These components allow you to position text and a video beside each other. The positioning of the text and video will be implied by the title (for example, "Text & Video" will position the text on the left side of your page and the image on the right side).

Survey

This component will allow you to embed a survey directly on your page using TypeForm. Simply insert the link of your desired TypeForm survey in the field and the survey will be accessible to participants on the challenge side.
